Following extensive research, the ‘Design Standards’ for external alterations to Garden City homes are changing.
Taking into account the age and style of properties, no longer will every home in the Garden City be subject to the same standards.

Instead, three separate ‘Character Areas’ have been identified:

• Early Garden City
• Later Garden City
• Modern Garden City

Please note if you live on the Jackmans or Grange Estates, these 'Standards' may not apply.

Each ‘Character Area’ has its own set of Standards.

Use the search tool to the right to identify the ‘Character Area’ of your home.

Enter your postcode, house number and / or street name then press find. Follow the on screen prompts then click on the link directing you to the ‘Design Standards’ for your home.
